Goal

With the Washington Redskins being under much scrutiny for their name, they decided to change it last season. However, for the time being, their team name is the "Washington Football Team". I decided to change that and completely rebrand this team into something different. 

Process

To start out this process, I wanted to learn about what football fans/non football fans thought about the change of the team, and got their insight by a survey. Here were my results:

Logo

I started out in the original colors, then switched my iterations to Red, White and Blue. As I refined, I decided on a sharp WF for the logo with a feather on the lefthand side. I wanted the logo to be simple and symbolic, representing America in a concise way. I implemented this change because most people didn't know the Washington Football Team was in D.C, the nation's capital.
